How to Create a SUI wallet

DoubleUp is a crypto centric casino built on top of the SUI blockchain. Being that we are built on this specific chain, before being able to play you’ll need to buy some SUI tokens. In this guide we’ll dive into how to get started with SUI and how to start playing games on DoubleUp on both desktop and your mobile device.

First you’ll need to download a SUI wallet, in this guide we’ll be using the Slush wallet created by Mysten Labs, the team behind SUI.

Using a google chrome browser, you’ll need to search for “Slush Wallet” and click the official link, or the hyperlink connected above.

After clicking onto the home page simply download the Slush wallet chrome extension and download!

After downloading the chrome extension your next step is to create a wallet account. You can do so by connecting your gmail, connecting your icloud, facebook, or generate a passphrase account. A passphrase is a fancy word for password protected account, similar to 2FA. A passphrase account is very common in the crypto space, so we’ll quickly dive into how to create an account with both Gmail and a Passphrase

LOGIN WITH GMAIL

Using Gmail is one of the simplest ways to get started with SUI. Simply login to your gmail account and whallah, you now have a crypto wallet account!

As mentioned, passphrases are solely for added security for your wallet. When creating an account with a passphrase, first select the “more options” tab

Next you’ll see your “recovery phrase”, this is your passphrase and is vital to your account. Anyone who has access to this randomly generated phrase will have full access into your wallet. Be sure to write this down on a notepad for safekeeping.

The next step is setting up a password to login to your wallet when opening the chrome extension. This password is completely created by you, and will be separate for all devices. For example, when using Slush wallet on desktop you can have your password be DoubleUp123, and on your mobile device it can be iLoveDoubleUp. You have complete freedom to choose whatever you’d like

Congratulations! You’ve now successfully created a SUI wallet. Now for the easy part, your first purchase! With Slush wallet you can buy SUI directly on the app.

Next type in the USD amount of SUI you’d like to purchase and click next

You’ll then see a couple of different options for providers to buy the SUI with. In this guide we’ll be using Coinbase. Simply click on Coinbase and fill out the needed information.

That’s it! You’ve now successfully created a SUI wallet and have the funds to start playing on DoubleUp!

MOBILE

Creating a Slush wallet is almost the exact same process on mobile as it is on desktop, with 1 change. Rather than you downloading a chrome extension, you’ll need to download the Slush wallet app available on both Android and iOS.
